Summary
A leading member of the Jewish community in Başkale. Sinior told him about the accusation and inquiry after meeting the kaymakam. In segment 04.06 he is arrested in Van under the National Protection Law, convicted and sentenced to a fine, a two-year trade ban and exile to Hakkari. Sinior pursues an appeal in Ankara, after which Shmuel is released without a retrial.
